Looking from the gate into the main hall, a revering marble Buddha image, which is 11 feet high and weighs10 tons, can be seen. The granite flooring of the hall is keeping the place cool and clean. It is also awe-inspiring to see the Throne where the Buddha Image is sitting, which is gilded with gold and decorated with Myanmar traditional handicraft. There are miniature Buddha images on the wall of the hall. This Buddha Image is one of the reasons for the ThathanaYanthi monastery to come into existence in Singapore.
